UPDATED INFORMATION ABOUT SITE HIRE AND SITE FAMILIARIZATION
- SITE HIRE
Site hire is available from Wednesday, September 21 through Saturday, September 24 at noon.
Currently, Team Australia booked the entire day on Thursday, September 22nd, and Team USA
booked the entire day on Friday, September 23rd. The scheduling of individual skiers will
be handled by the Federations, not the LOC. The site is available for hire on Wednesday,
September 21st, and Saturday morning, September 24th. The cost is $250 per hour.
- SITE FAMILIARIZATION
The Masters Rules state that any skier entered automatically becomes a member of their
respective Federation’s team. As a result, we are operating under Technical Rule 1906 A,
which allows 8 minutes per skier.
We have estimated team time based upon the number of skiers in the current intent to enter
numbers. Actual time available at the tournament will be based upon the number of skiers
using site familiarization x 8 minutes.
Below is the tentative schedule for site familiarization:
Saturday, September 24
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Aus
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. US
4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Walk-ups
Sunday, September 25
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 Walk ups
8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. US
3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. CN, NZ, HN, MX
4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Walk ups
Monday, September 26
7:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Walk ups
**NOTE: Walk up times are available solely for late arrivals, or those who otherwise cannot
schedule during their federation’s allotted time slots.
The LOC desires for every skier who wants site familiarization time to receive it within the
scheduling limitations. It is up to the Federation (not the LOC) to schedule their team skiers
within the blocks of time allotted. Skiers should plan to ski only during their federation’s
designated times.
